We are very pleased to announce that our mini-documentary about the Youth Open Mic is now live.  Featuring Eli Nichols, his brother Kiernan and their parents, this great three minute film was directed and produced by filmmaker Cedric Pilard of Story Eyed Media.


The Youth Open Mic takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month from 4-7 pm at the Starry Plough, located at 3101 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.

 

The Youth Open Mic at the Starry Plough in Berkeley provides a supportive, all ages venue for young musicians and spoken word artists.  We always welcome kids and teens who would like to perform, help co-host, or assist with technical duties.  We also have trivia and prizes for the kids! The Youth Open Mic takes place the fourth Sunday of every month, and the next show is Sunday, April 22nd from 4-7 pm.  The Starry Plough is at 3101 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.

Grown-up accompanists are welcome, as long the main performer or performers are under 21.  Food is available at the Starry Plough Restaurant.  Admission is free.
